After she got off the phone with Asa and sent Erick a text, she went and took a shower. Once done she got dressed for the day. She wanted to make sure to look nice but not too flashy as she chose her outfit. She was meeting this man for the first time and she did not want to come across as fake, but as her true self. She felt it was best that way. Picking out her outfit with that in mind she got herself dressed and did her hair and putting on a little makeup, but not much. She never wore too much unless she was taking pictures. She tried modeling once, but it just wasn't for her, she still liked taking pictures from time to time. Anything for some money. Once she was ready she went and make herself a small lunch before making sure to put on a fresh pot of coffee for her meeting. Still, just to be safe, she made sure she slid one of her guns into the holster under her dining table. She was sure she wouldn't need to use it but a girl had to be careful sometimes. Sitting at her table she ate her sandwich slowly, sipping from a can of Pepsi as she waited with her phone on the table, looking through her social media accounts.

Normally he would have gone with Jez as it was a female wolf but truth be told he didn’t even think about it really. He took four of the pack circled the block leaving one each posted a t each of the corners keeping an eye out for any trouble. It wasn’t until he touched the doorbell did he think he should have called ahead. But as here was no work being done he thought it’d be okay. They weren’t going to leave bodies or anything. This was just a nice meet and greet care of the master of the city.
Ringing the doorbell he knocked immediately after he hated being exposed in the least and having checked the security yeah this was exposed. Luckily it was a quiet block anything overt would stand out and anything cover would seem overt as quiet as it was. Revving engines, too many new faces all in all it was a block where people would be found out.

She sat at her table, finishing up her lunch when she heard the doorbell. Taking one last sip of soda she got up and cleaned the table quickly before making her way to the door. Hearing the knock she laughed softly to herself. "Impatient, isn't he." She whispered with a bit of amusement in her voice. Of course, he probably could have heard through the door but she was still speaking only to herself. Opening the door she looked to the man, all her nerves suddenly gone, and she smiled softly.
"Hello. Asariel?" She could catch his scent right off the bat, along with a few others and she knew instantly they were wolves. Once he replied she gestured with her hand for him to come in.

"Yesenia" he said moving into her place. Going to her table he sat in what was clearly her seat. He undid his suit coat Lacing his fingers he leaned forward on the table.
" I'm really simple and straight forward. Either you'll be accepted into the pack when I leave or...not. You okay with honest answers? I ask you answer then ask, okay?"

She watched as he entered her apartment, taking in his look. It was just something she did. Memorize faces and features. It always helped to read people later on. She smirked when he took her seat but she said nothing about it. Politeness and all that. Before she sat down she poured two cups of coffee and put them on a tray with cream and sugar and moved to place it on the middle of the table. She then took a seat across from him, crossing on leg over the other and folded her hands around her knee as her blue hues looked to his as she responded.
"Straight forward is the best way to be, always. Go ahead."

"Usually, but then for most people polite means kind over honest. I kinda hate that." He looked at the coffee deciding against it with a shrug.
"Thank you however," he said with a slow flick of fingers in direction of the pot.
"Well first, how long ya been infected?"

She smiled and nodded. "I was never one for being "polite" in the true sense of the word. To me, that means be fake. Honesty and respect is how I roll." She noted he didn't take the coffee and shrugged lightly to herself. Hearing his question she began to answer.
"Only a couple of years now."

"You made five years yet?" Most people didn't make it that long without help. Then again most people didn't know how to be alone. Either way it was telling in she if infected over dive years would have an idea as to pack roles and etiquette.

She nodded softly. "Just over five years since a few months ago. I have been on my own though the entire time." Unlike most, since she did stay to herself , she hadn't had a clue about any of the politics. She managed to stay under the radar as she was searching for the one who turned her for most of the time. She didn't even realize there was politics involved until she met Erick.

"So now the ten thousand dollar question. How much do you truly understand about our community, about our culture?"
It was a dangerous question as whatever she believed she knew would be the truth for her even if it wasn't in fact accurate. He always hated this point as it would be telling. And in truth most lycanthropes were too dangerous to be in their own.

That was the question she was both waiting for and dreading. But honesty, like she said. "Absolutely nothing. I never even knew there was any kind of organized... anything... when it came to our kind. I have only met a handful of our kind since I was turned. And most of those were the type that stood away from any kind of law or government. This is all new to me, and very frustrating because I don't like not knowing."

"That's absolutely horrible to hear." He said leaning back in the chair really looking at her. Blatantly poking at her shields. Looking for the weaknesses he knew would be there. And sure enough exploitable holes where her beast poked out.
It was impossible to be a strong wolf without the experience of the pack. Those that survived by luck or constant moving were anomalies. And he was looking at another. It was estimated that six percent of the worlds pooulation were preternaturals and of that four Hundred forty six million a good portion were wolves and rats. Most people had to try very hard to not touch the lycanthrope community.
"Well, you need to be taught thats for sure. How are you with acceptance,"

She was a very cunning person and if she put her mind to things, she got them done. Surviving and staying under the radar for the sake of finding her maker was a goal she had been determined to accomplish, even though in the end she failed. She would be a rarity then because she did in fact survive by herself. Although now, she felt like she needed more. Hearing him she nodded softly and leaned forward, resting her elbow on the table and her chin on a closed fist.
"That is what I want. I want to know everything I should have already learned and then some. Acceptance?" She canted her head a bit.

"Acceptance is a very big thing. Accepting good news and bad. Lessons must be accepted it’s hard to shake the world views we normally spend our whole lives building. It’s like teaching adults who’ve never swam to do just that." Leaning forward he met her eyes letting the wolf peak out. “There are only so many things that isolation is good for and rarely are those things any good in a big city.”

She nodded firmly. "I have no issues with that. I survived military training. I think I am pretty accepting. I am eager to be involved and know and learn everything I can." She looked into his eyes, her own lightly shifting but only a enough to allow his beast to see his own. "I no longer wish for isolation, which is why I am here."
