The favors are never ending... A call to Erick.

Once she finished calling Asa she made another phone call. She still held a smile on her face but she hates knowing it was to ask another favor. Once again she reached voicemail, which made sense considering the time, and she softened her voice as she spoke.

 "Get Erick. It's Jessie. I wanted to call for two reasons actually. One, to hear your voice. And two, to tell you about my night. Ok..so, I spoke to boss man and he gave me Asa's number and I left him a message this morning. I am both nervous and excited to get this taken care of. Hopefully nothing bad comes from it all. Boss man also asked me to ask you another favor, which I am starting to hate doing by the way, and see if you would be willing to show me the ropes. He wants me to be manager. Crazy right? Anyway, when you get the time, give me a call. Miss you. Talk to you soon, sexy." 

 with that she hung up and finished her coffee as she waited to see if she would get a call back from anyone.

She wasn't expecting a call back from him yet, especially after asking yet another favor, but she did want to keep him posted so before she went to take a shower she shot him a quick text.

"Got in touch with Asa. He is meeting me today at 3 at my place. Thank you for all your help. Hope you are having a good day. TTYL. ~Jess"

Having finally divested himself of bridezilla without biting her head clean off. He was going over spring cuttings catalogs from his suppliers. He missed both messages somehow so listening to the first he smiled and then was confused. he could teach her to manage the bar between his own business running and having been to that specific bar enough to know some things. Sure so that was still weird but doable, he missed her too and was thinking about having to take her with him to pick a gown for the ceremony which was coming up soon he figured.

The second one made him frown, she was so independent and determined ..almost to much so. It took everything in him to not shut down the shop and go rushing to her rescue. No, she needed to do this but Elichem was going to catch an earful for setting this up for her. Calling back after a few calming breaths and getting her voicemail back which meant looking at the time she was mid-meeting with Asa. Cursing gently" Jess its Erick if you can soon as he leaves call me to tell me you are alright please or Ill worry and end up over there breaking down the door and of course Ill train you for manager and miss you too."

He was not going to be able to focus but he would have to try.
