Jessie had a great night and so she was in one of her better moods as she walked into work. Of course the woman wanted to look good so second skin black leather look pants hugged her curves while a small blue bustier style top showed off her flat stomach and made her form look even more curvy. Herr hair so wore straight and long with just enough makeup to make her eyes pop. Why? She didn't know, something about the previous night just made her want to look good. She also had a plan. She was going to go to work and do whatever she could to find out how to meet these people she was supposed to meet. She hated having unfinished business and this sounded important, so she walked in and headed straight behind the bar. She grabbed her phone and sent a text to Erick before putting her phone under the bar and clocking in for her shift. She would spend the rest of the night keeping her eyes open for her boss to see if she could steal a moment to find out how she could set up this meeting. Erick had been a great help but if she could set it up without having to bother him, knowing he was now even more busy, it would be great. She knew she would be going to that celebration thing he invited her too but that night was about him and she didn't want him to try and set it up then if she could do it herself, even if the meeting ended up scheduled for after the ceremony itself.

The effect of having terminated Harald meant he was sorely lacking in terms of day to day management. It also meant as by dint of the vacancy he had to be on premises more often than he otherwise would have. As such the two months since her arrival he had witnessed her interactions with a decent swath of the clientele who entered. Her skills growing each day and she becoming more confident behind the bar. Due his age and upbringing he was not one for flowery compliments or appraisals. There was value in recognition and he was saving his of her for her tree month revue.
Yet her attempts to catch his eye and his attention as well as certain set of her shoulders necessitated an aside. Stealing behind the bar as she busied herself concocting an aperol spritzer he waited until she'd set the drink before her customer to announce himself. "You seem far more at home, my how time has flown."

She was adjusting well to being in the city. Her day to day was something she had been handling pretty well and she loved her job. She learned how to make so many new drinks, considering she mainly tended in dive bars and hole in he walls, and was ever growing her drink list. She was even feeling comfortable enough to play around with a few of her little bar tricks every now and then when the crowd was fun. She was surprised at how well she adjusted to the place and how comfortable she actually was, especially considering her boss was a vampire. There was still just the last piece of the puzzle she needed to make this particular life puzzle complete. Meet the one in charge of the wolves.
She was finishing up on the current order and placed the drink in front of the patron before turning to add it to their tab. Hearing his voice she looked to him and smiled after punching in the order. She turned to face him as she spoke softly, yet still loud enough to be heard over the music. "I feel more at home. This place is great and everyone has been really helpful. I did want to speak with you though, if you have a moment."-d

"That is good news to hear. I am glad you are feeling...comfortable. What is it you need to speak about?" He smiled as way of blank face waiting on what she might have in mind. He had several ideas but waited to see which act she would take. He knew that she had taken a few risks in the last two months hunting on her own. But she had lucked out catching no undue attention and coming to no harm. As such he was content to leave well enough alone.

She brought her hands up to brush her hair back with her fingers before she spoke to him, keeping her eyes on his. "Well, when we spoke a while back you mentioned I needed to meet with Asa. Erick was going to see about setting up the meeting for me but with everything he has on his plate, I don't want to bother him. He has already done a lot for me since I have been here and I want to try and do this on my own. So, I needed to know if there was a way to have that meet set up. He was going to ask during his ceremony thing, I still don't understand how any of that works" she laughed softly "but I want that to be about him so if I can get it set up before that, even if the meeting takes place afterward, that would be great." She had been trying to do what she could to get by and stay under the radar, not wanting to step on anyones toes or cause any issues. So far, she seemed to be doing okay. At least, she hopes so.

He folded his arms across his chest looking her over as she spoke. He read her tone inflection and more importantly her honesty. Raising a brow he slipped his hand into his jacket retrieving his phone he dialed Asariel’s number.
‘Yes?’
Sighing at the mans brusqueness. Caller Identification was invented to be used. “You will receive a call from a number unknown to you shortly. It will be from a new wolfstress. She is a bartender for me. Meet her, speak with her, indoctrinate her into your pack. Have an enjoyable evening Asariel.” Ending the call as brusquely as he answered Eliachem slipped his phone away.
Removing a pen he took a napkin jotting down Asariel’s number handing it to Jessie. Smiling egalitarianly he asked, “Is there anything else that you might have a need of?”

She looked around to make sure no one else was in need of drinks before once again giving him her full attention. She watched him intensely and smiled as she saw him making the call. Hearing him she felt a bit of her nerves come back but quickly pushed them away. She needed to do this. She knew that. She watched as he wrote the number on the napkin and she smiled and nodded to him as she took the napkin and folded it and put it in her pocket.
"Thank you. I will give him a call as soon as I can.You have already helped me so much, I wouldn't ask anything else of you. I really appreciate the help."

He cocked his head looking her over. Glancing about him to the patrons at the bar then back. Smiling he said "You’re very welcome. It is my pleasure to be of a help." Uncrossing his arms slipping his hands into his pants pockets he stepped from directly behind the bar to the service well. “You and Erick are good friends yes?”

She moved to take care of someone at the bar, making them a Cosmo as she heard his question. A soft smile formed on her lips and she looked at him with a soft shrug of her shoulders. "I suppose. He is really the only friend I have here. I consider him a close friend, but I can't speak for him. I hope he thinks so though."

"Oh he is not an indirect man if he favors you it would be apparent." Eliachem said his voice carrying just loud enough to heard. "The reason I ask is as his friend do you have the ability to ask a favor. A labor intensive favor, well mental labor intensive at least."
He had a deliciously simple solution one that he hoped would solve an inordinate amount of issues.

She arches a curious brow as she heard him. She would assume based off of the way Erick had been acting with her. "I suppose it would depend on the favor. Even friends have limits, you know?"
She canted her head as she looked to him with a soft but curious smile on her lips.

He chuckled at her attempting to hedge her bets now. He was fine with her leaving a way out. It would have made him worry had she not.
"There are of course others here who might be up to the task temporarily but if at all possible I'd like to have an arrangement of some permanence. So the favor I wish you to ask of him is education. Education of yourself in regards to inventory maintenance and upkeep. It is far simpler and immensely more complicated than it looks and should be. There is the receipt of goods, the storage or said goods the itemized understanding of inventory flow as well as reordering when appropriate levels have been reached and scheduling of such needs."
He smiled shrugging. "It is a larger job and of course sum remuneration involved for your efforts..."

She smiled softly as he seemed to notice what she was doing.
Listening to him a look of surprise hit her face. "You want me to ask him to train me to be a manager basically? That's what you are asking?" She smiled a bit more and lightly bit her lower lip before she spoke once more. "I will see if he is willing to do so. I don't know how things work here but I did do the books and inventory orders for a much smaller bar back in Nebraska when I was running through."
She smiled once more and she nodded. "I appreciate you even considering me for it."

Not disappointed by her perceptiveness he smiled nodding as way of answering. “Good that’s settled. You’ll ask and use your previous experience to gain a grasp of whats on hand and what we sell including the VIP inventory.” Stepping away he said in parting, “You’re the only consideration that matters Jessie.”

She nodded to his words and smiled brightly as he left. The last of his words made her smile even more. All in all, it turned out to be a good night.
