As he sped through traffic that could only exist in New York after making plans in three layers. He dialed Detective Davis. He didn’t know if she would answer but in truth it didn’t matter. She was a fighter if he didn’t fight she would come to him. So he didn’t fight he actually offered an olive branch.

She got her guns talked to the chief breiefly and then was ready to go so when he called she answered" now was that so hard I'm ready wen you are. Shall I meet you down stairs?"
Legs crossed she tried to keep te mirth out of her voice. He seemed like an ok man but she was occasionally stubborn and didnt take well to demands.

Bhas was surprised she answered the last candidate to take off on him didn’t answer his cal for three days he was the best UC they had in the witches to date.
" Shall is a bit formal detective. Formally you have a notation in your file to start off your illustrious career in the marshals. And unfortunately I am already on the battery tunnel on my way to the site. You have to catch-up and judging by the accident behind me is going to cost at least twenty-five lives. I’ll send you the coordinates. By the way are you shaking the owner down or using is he the victim? "
Swerving up onto the median he jerked away from the dividing rods planted in the cement just in time to avoid not being able to continue anything at all Wiping his brow he plowed on. The drive would normally take ninety-five minutes he was aiming for sixty and was ahead of schedule by six minutes.

She hiked a brow as she headed for the subway she guessed at where he was heading by what tunnel so he wouldn't get to far a lead. She was born here there was always another way. The notation didn't bother her sny because she knew when push came to shove she'd be far more useful then that one first encounter." You mean the accident took twenty five or the delay? And the owner is being shaken down which is why I w s trying to leave a game plan for him to have help as I eat there often and the people shaking him down are under ripits jurisdiction"
She caught the train that would connect her to the line in jersey easily enough.

" Yes the accident behind me is going to add at least twenty-five minutes some jackanape drove their car into rail line. I’m sure they didn’t mean to but that’s why its called an accident. Shame that about the owner. Judging by what I read in their files with Henry’s abilities I am sure they will get to the bottom of it. And if they need an execution I am sure they will let us know. You may want to take the golden state parkway it’s a mess but a lighter mess than this way unless you run lights and sod. I’ve got to go Davis let me know when you reach the garden state I’ll direct you in."
Ending the call he wheeled around and off road decreasing his chances of running into a few cars that like typical New Yorkers felt self important enough to not move. Swerving back onto the road he chuckled at the squeal of tires. He drove like a madman but that was because he knew you nly lived once.

He answered his phone with his usual "Go for Yatri.” He rarely checked caller ID as his number was a not so closely guarded secret. It didn’t get out. The number on his card was to the switchboard which would then relay the call to his phone. A call that didn’t come with the delay of connection and the switchboard asking his ten one oh one was a rarity.
“Davis its good to hear from you. I heard you were magic you’ve made good time. First thing are you around people if so flash your badge and get someone to help you for a second. I’ll wait…” True to his word he began humming the theme to jeopardy as he waited for her to find someone.
Once she did and came back online. Once she did he said, “I know its seems silly but you need to be deputized and as I have my hands a little full right this second you need to place me on speaker.” He waited again. Once she acquiesced he gathered the persons’ information directing them to merely listen in after he identified himself.
“Alright Davis raise your right hand.” To the witness he asked “Is her hand raised? Good now Davis you need to say I, Monica Davis, do solemnly swear and affirm, that I will faithfully execute all lawful precepts directed to the marshal of the second district under the authority of the United States, and true returns make; and in all things well and truly, without malice or partiality, perform the duties of the office of marshal of the second district of during my continuance in said office, and take only my lawful fees. So, help me God."
Once she spoke her oath of office they could work on pay later and get all of the documentation signed. Ducking the shots fired form the daytime protector of the infected vampire who was raging inside he rattled off the address the foundry where they were. The body at the forensics lab could wait as well as the others in the morgue. He hoped she could help well hope was a stretch.

It took much not to roll her eyes at her phone but, she listened and though the first request was crazy she flagged down her driver and put the man on speaker. Once info was exchanged she raised her right hand" I Monica Davis, do solemnly swear and affirm, that I will faithfully execute all lawful precepts directed to the marshal of the second district under the authority of the United States, and true returns make; and in all things well and truly, without malice or partiality, perform the duties of the office of marshal of the second district of during my continuance in said office, and take only my lawful fees. So, help me God."
That felt weird but then she heard gunshots and was glad shed switched him off speaker after the oath having thanked the driver." Ok stay safe I'm on my way "
Getting in the car she gave the man the adress and a Benji" fast as you can including safely run reds and then once I get out you beat it fast got it?"
Two close calls and fifteen minutes she was on scene with the town car speeding off. She paused to center her self and then opened her gift. It helped her find the humans and avoid the major trapped areas. Spotting yas

He chuckled as she stepped out of a towncar instead of a normal cab or even an uber. Careful to keep his head down as they still had twenty minutes before the tactical response unit would make the seen. He and Arnold were it, well he arnold and now davis.
He might have thought of pulling back but if they did the vamp inside and his daytime protectors would certainly find a way to escape. As it stood they were it. They had to hold not to mention they have to pull back on foot as both he and Arnolds vehicles were absolutely useless after taking so much concentrated fire.
"Good that you could make it Davis." He began as he nidded his head to the asian Marshal hunkered behind the rear wheel well. "Davis Arnold, Arnold Davis, you both know me." Taking a quick look his attempt was met with another barrage.
"Okay I suppose they don't want an introduction. But inside that Foundry we have an awake vampire in the midst of shifting somehow. And on the east corner are two day time gaurds armed with mac tens with clearly enough ammo to make them effective. The vampire up until roughly the time I was picking you up was our CI. He called just after I hung up with you and well things werent going so well for him. I don't know the scipe of your abilities but please tell me they are necromantic..."

Sheducked as well and listened nodding at the other marshal. Briw raised she shook her head" sorry to disapoint but i read natures and things effecting them like in nola I knew what each person in the scurmish was ,their emotions and anything effecting them like drugs or magic. I get that visually and more clarity and history with touch. "
She was also a crack shot matt was better but she was third at the department. She was trying to figure out how she was going to help this situation. Not close enough to see the aural pattern clear enough past bitten human." Do we have a rifle? I am sure I can drop the humans enough to neutralize them if we do"

Bhas smiled despite the disappointment he was feeling. If he was honest he had to admit he was hoping for District Twos own version of Marshal Blake. Districts one two and three were the smallest in area but most densely packed. He’d expected that sooner or later someone to rival the Marshals status yet uncompromised by the internal workings of the Preternatural community would arise. Sadly, Davis was not that someone. Ah well he thought as she mentioned rifle.
Tactical was still too far out. So, he grinned sitting firmly on his rear slouching so that no exposed area would present itself to the vampire addled yet surprisingly competent human guards. Anyone he came to know him knew he was at his most dangerous when he was actually smiling. It seemed his mirth was the key to unlocking the potential in him to luck out of an immense amount of chaos or bumble into more.
“Alright Davis shame that but also a shame I don’t keep a long range rifle handy. I’m going to remedy that later. I hear American arms makes a suitable model for travel.” Having completed his mental computations he looked at Arnold. “Alright Arnold hers the plan we’re dead meat if it doesn’t work so I won’t be able to tell you this but I’ve always hated your coffee. Its outright barely potable let alone palatable. Have you considered going into the chemical warfare business? No? Well you should. “
Looking to Davis he said, “It had to be said it is not something I can go to the grave holding in.” Continuing as he’d gotten their gunmen’s cadence. “They’ve relatively great eyesight or are taking potshots where they think we’ll be and attracted by movement. They have Mac-10’s and considerable ammunition. We however are smack dab at the edge of their effective range. Roughly seventy metres. That means getting closer is a bad idea just yet maybe for quite sometime which is bad for us as if we wait too long the vampire inside will be free to storm out of there in a cloud of destruction. So…” He said picking up larger shards of the side view mirror near him. “We’re going to to catch their eye with literal smoke,” this he punctuated by taking the flares littered. “ And mirrors to distract them long enough to get close enough that we won’t be wasting our ammunition.” Taking off his jacket to help the flares create smoke clouds. He looked at the both of them. “Well lady and gent this won’t work if I am the only idiot doing it grab some materials and lets get reckless. We’re going to have to move at a reasonable similarity of time as they like to concentrate their fire. We’ll give them three at once and get close enough to drop them anyway we can. Then we will tackle the death engine inside the building. Hopefully not actually have to tackle but we’ll burn that bridge once we can think without all of this racket.”

His aural map was fascinating the eagle ruffled its feathers when the lack of necromancy sunk in for him then settled it as swirling shades of inspiration and a hint of malicious intent mixed with truth happened. She looked away to avoid the chuckle that threated.
She was use to everyone hearing gift and thinking of blake like no others exsist. So that didn't bother her. She still saved lives and was plenty useful. Hearing hom about the coffee she blinked and shrugged her apologies to the other. Then her own scarf shirked and adding a small stick she carefully tacked it away from them but close enough to where they were.
As the wind caught it it looked like shed just was careless and didnt hide well. It drew a burst of fire. Then duck walking carefully in the skirt she helped with smoke production. Soon enough they had a thick smoke screen and the scarf caught another burst as it was the only visible thing moving. She spoke " we arnt going to get long the scarf is nearly shreds."
When bhas finally gave them the order to move she cleared her guns and took off low and quick. The boots would be done for but they wernt heels. She used the building as cover and tried to get close.

Instead lights camera action and a film crew scurrying to capture a moment it was smoke mirrors and chaotic zigging and zagging designed to not get caught in a moment. Arnold even for his extra forty pounds was nimble and determined enough to not get caught out. The Mac-10’s sounded like an orchestra of death their firing nearly nonstop as the two men tried to create a wall of bullets. They were good and with a little more training they’d have been great. Sadly, they tried aiming where they were and not where they would be. It helped him Arnold and Davis get right up to the building.
He wasn’t sure what hand signs Davis was accustomed to as each department modified the standards to suit their officers needs at times. So instead he simply slid his phone out as he kept his eye skyward listening to eth two men scramble around trying to find a way to get an accurate shot off without exposing themselves. He text both Arnold and Davis, ‘follow me.’ “DAVIS YOU’RE THE BEST SHO GET AWAY FROM THE BUILDING AND PICK THEM OFF FROM THE WEST AROLD YOU CLIMB THOSE HANDHOLDS AND FLANK THEM I’M GOING IN THROUGH THE FRONT!!!”
While the men began scrambling on the roof to cover their enemies movement Bhas Davis and Arnold appeared on the roof as if by magic having the drop on the men. " Federal Marshals if you move you die." He called out once they were there knowing Davis and Arnold were both shooters. There were three men one whose sole job it seemed was to keep them loaded all froze as they weighed their options.

If there wss ever a time to beglad you worked out this was it. She climbed the building meeting arnold and in time to put the bead on the shooters. She noticed something though the aurals had a strange tint amd thread runing through. Magic but not fae this was practioner. Crap this was a bigger poop storm then bhas knew." Kick the guns over the sides ammo too and if I think you might for even a second flex to pick up the gun..you wont make it"
She flicked off the safety with her thumbs on both guns to let them hear it. Watching close the ammo guy had a flash of anger and bravery she popped him in the chest sending him over the side." Not going to say it again gentleman"
They kicked it over and she took a small breath. Now they just needed to get them secured and arnold had them step away from each other with her covering to cuff them face down. Silver cuffs cutting some of the magic flowing to them.
Now they could help bhas but she text him back quick." Vamps cursed I'm pretty sure I saw witch magic in the humans be careful we are coming down"

Bhas moved into the building having mentally mapped out where the best places for an actual lair would be as the building didn’t have a basement so to speak. Time was on his side his blood had been proven proof against contagion. He was one in a million. Actually, he was one in thirty one million eight -hundred ninety million but special was special all the same in his book. He knew there were several other more gruesome things to happen than contract lycanthropy or vampirism but he always chose to look on the bright side. Having left his radio as he knew it wouldn’t help in this situation. He simply moved listening as his phone went off he glanced at the screen and sent back ‘bring a light and breakout the windows please.’
The sounds hadn’t stopped since he entered. He heard similar when visiting facilities still in operation to separate and secure lycanthropes. There weren’t many and he honestly wished there were fewer. Yet he’d heard the sounds of lycanthropes during their first changes. It was a shame that even in the few where counselors were available the first change was a gruesome scarring thing. So much so the mind blocked it out for weeks sometimes forever. There CI was changing and at the rate of panting breath had been for awhile the voice was still human but the first change most times took over an hour. There was no full moon yet he was changing. Bhas switched his clip if he ha dto shoot he knew it would need to be to the death.
