She stood waiting for them to part ways looking at the faces and kniwung she might never look on them again but then again she'd promised a certain blond she'd visit with or without her rex.
Monica had finally someone she'd call friend of the female lion persuasion. It had been hard to stay and finish once the local pride had rebuffed them and feeling the tragedy at home so keenly. Though now one of the scariest lions she'd ever met was in charge.
The urge to go was strong they now knew their pride safe but their home wrecked and several leaders looking for the culprit. So this was bitter sweet.

Tam couldn’t wait to get back to Savannah and home. She felt conflicted over how close she’d drawn to Melissa and how distant the two brothers had grown. She was initially under the impression that they were here to be killed and yet now they were each going their separate ways. She couldn’t believe that two lions so strong together would ever think of separating willingly. Yet here they were each aside from Melissa and Hieronymous going their own way. She wanted to hug them all and yet she only hugged Melissa slipping her actual number in her pocket as she did.
Waving to the others she headed to her gate and tried not to look back. This trip changed her somewhat. She knew she would never look on Dubh Leomhann of Gàidhealtachd the same. She was still appreciative for what she had learned yet seeing him seize his potential was truly terrifying. There were different levels she had never known existed to the man and things she didn’t even yet know about herself.
She needed time to think and she knew it would be awhile before she could figure these thoughts and emotions out but she would.

When things happened he’d shielded as hard as he could which normally was quite considerable. However in doing so the vacuum of connection for most lions Rexes around the country was deafening. There were calls and rabid declarations of hunting parties heading to Chicago. He wanted that so badly it took far more control than he’d thought he possessed to not will it into existence let alone deny them. He wanted to hunt this villain out himself and slowly pull his entrails from his body.
Whole he kept his head in the game and focused on the business of their trip to the Big apple his methods were decidedly more vicious more aggressive and far more unrelenting than ever. They needed to wrap things up decisively and quickly. Surprising it was the twins who helped him more in their finding the strength to part than any other. Together there was too much strength for either to take full rein of separately they were weaker but more controlled all the same. They willingly agreed to part ways and he vouched for the younger to make his way to Miami while the older returned to their coalition in Burlington.
To Samuel he said goodbye as only they could he forgave him for all that had come before and congratulated him on his new headache. Tam he merely nodded to as she said goodbye to Melissa and their plucky capable sniper he hugged whispering for her to keep a watch on her Prides newest lion. She would need to guide him as much as Simon as he knew that Simon was still young and a good deal more aggressive than some would be comfortable with.
Once they’d parted ways he spoke freely with Melissa planning how they would go about beating the bushes and drive this villain out into the open.
“You handled yourself really well; Thank you for coming with me.” He said as they eased into their seats on the plane.
