Aeolas sat at his desk it had been a rough night. Dialing his old friend waiting for an answer. " you know as much as this went well you could have warned me the lion and snake were so hard headed and stand offish. The tie between them is more than most thought and will and has been formidable. Nothing I can't handle but again a warning would have been nice"

Eliachem had been settling things in his own way insuring that his shadow Court within the Former Masters had been insulated while he outmaneuvered the implanted agents from the European Council. He was not the sort to banter idly with agents whose sole reason for being was the destruction of what he hoped to build up. It was a matter of controlling the tempo of the war. He had determined that a stand up war would be to no one’s benefit. Except perhaps the EC’s even while he openly secretly opposed the EC he was no fan of the American Council either. He was busy fortifying his tenterhooks within the infrastructure. It was slow going with such a wealth of decentralized power running rampant.
The Lions were fractured into six different Clans, the Streaks were almost as disparate having no central leadership, the criminal element had as many stray limbs as there were probabilities in an Enigma code. He sat looking at the coded compiled data spread out over the entirety of the ballrooms floor. He was slowly beginning to see the pattern emerge when his forgotten phone vibrated to life. Answering without looking he was sure the voice on the other end would alert him to whom it was. Very few people living or unliving had this new number.
“I never had any doubt as to your capabilities my friend. I do wonder how many blood feuds have you managed to stir? Not that I have fared all that differently. Though I suppose those here are more how to say it less genuine with their motives for doing so. Had I warned you it would have spoiled your fun. My suggestion however now that you have seen the entrenched leaders first hand would be to win over the Old guard or kill them quickly anything else will prove far too frustrating to make your reign anything more than a slide into madness. Strong as they are they will not live forever but they almost single-handedly made Isadora’s short reign possible. "
