Monica listened following along she knew what he was doing and was so glad. She opened her phone texted Abel a short but detailed recap of who what where and why. Then the second one of all the places being hit to hopefully intercept or mess up their plans. Standing when he dismissed her like a good little fake hired gun. Shooting the man one more searching look. Then turning briskly letting her self out and getting into the car as confirmation came from Abel that he understood and would deal with it.
Now that they were going into danger she tucked her spare gun into her hip holster the badge put away again. throwing knives strapped on under her jacket then she settled in for the ride to Ing. Looking up when he got in Showing him the responding text then buckling up. When they were at least five blocks from the restaurant she snagged a burner from the couple in the dash she knew he kept. making a call to the front desk of one PP. " hey jake this is monica... um this might be nothing but I was passing the Asian place on my way home you know the one kinda pricey. yeah that one.. they were flashing closed but all the lights were on and there were people inside..they normally are open super late. Its just a hunch could you send a car by to check on them maybe?.. I mean I didn't want to assume but you know just a feeling"
He grumbled but promised he would he knew the higher-ups trusted her gut and when she said she was feeling something they listened. That would take care of the mercs, their jailbird and give her an alibi since she never stopped in just mentioned it. Giving the uni's this win would go well and she didnt evwen have to be directly invovlved.

Samuel left the restaurant with a larger parcel than he'd entered with. Stashing everything in the trunk he would dispose of it later. Ings castle was a two story corner building with a disgusting Thai restaurant on the first floor. It was all glass as a testament to Ings invincibility. As well as lookout position for everything coming into the area as well as leaving. It was funny to Samuel that the man had not planned for a reckoning of any sort really. The man had no fall back position. It was tantamount to dancing in a steak covered body suit in front if a Pride of lions.
The thought amused him as Monica showed him the correspondence between her and Abel. It would take she and him twenty six minutes to get there. It woukd take Abel thirty nine and he was coming loaded for bear.
Talking for ten minutes shouldn't be a problem. If things remained professional thats all this should in truth be a conversation.
Doubtful someone as set in their ways as Ing would be anything but professional but one never knew.
Looking to Monica he smiled taking her left with his right a quick squeeze then back attending the road.

The squeeze was appreciated she would have his back in this and all things. She was going in not in a professional capacity but would do what she had to if pressed and then pin it all on Ing who would be the first killed if this went sideways. One pp would not really question someone like him getting offed and probably just be glad to have him off the streets.
Not that she could go vigilante but if she had learned one thing by the silver wolf incident it was that sometimes the greater good of the city was more important then sticking to the law. So as they parked she gave him a smile" lead the way my lion lets show him he doesn't run this city like he thinks he does"

Thai food wasn't the most pungent however upon entering it invaded the pores. Samuel had to steady himself as he opened the door for Monica. His eyes immediately moving to water.
Nose going dead he contemplated leaving or worse yet just razing the whole building for crimes against humanity. He held his peace but just barely as while the food was clearly bad on purpose the people inside were completely oblivious.
From bar keep who looked at them as if they were well heeled tourist clearly in the wrong place to the two bouncers protecting the office door. He sighed checked his watch. Nine minutes until Abel would have the block locked down.
"Oh my God honey this is the place. Clearly one star amenities and filled with cartoon bad guys. Do you really think the food is as bad as Yelp says."
Rubbing his hands together as if he were preparing for a feast he could blog about he began moving into the place apparently looking for an open table. As expected there were known. It was a shame actually as Ing paid these folks minimum wage to simply sit here taking up space. It was how many supplemented their income or pair off Ings vig.
Sighing exasperated having created distance between himself and Monica. "That's it I need to speak to the manager..." Turning to the office door as if he'd just seen it . He sighed and stepped forward one hand pointing skyward as if he had just one word to say. The bouncers were accustomed to their size being enough to intimidate were caught off guard as he stepped into the first shoulder jamming him back the two feet he had on his partner. He followed up whipping his left round catching the second on the sweet spot. He folded like laundry.
The first who was sort for his size still scrambling to his Samuel dropped into a crouch right in front of him meeting his gaze. "If you get up I will not be as n8ce to you stay down and I might offer you a job when this is all over."
He chose directly letting his arms give out...

As he again played the asshole tourist she smiled and fell back to cover, not as bothered by the smell her ability didn't rely on smell. Most of the people in here were cannon fodder and she paid them little heed as they got startled as he came in. She knew very little Thai but you were taught to say everybody out and a few other key things in most popular languages at the training. So when Samuel dropped the guards. She spoke up and very clearly in Thai " If you have no stake in this battle and are only a prop you go now or you might not survive the night..first and last warning"
Punctuating that was the click of the safety's on her guns which she had retrieved quickly. They knew gun and quickly stood and exited in haste. Leaving way more space and only the tough guys behind." now that we know who the players are i wouldn't move gentlemen..trust me on this one"

As the motion of the room exploded into rushing feet and profanities both in English and Thai Samuel spared a look assuring himself of Monica’s safety. He knew she could handle herself under fire yet she was very special to him. He would in fact burn the whole city down to protect her and her interests. Safe as she could be while in harms way protecting his rear he pushed on. As expected once he crossed the threshold there were men with guns waiting.
Raising his hands showing he was without a firearm he spared a smile. “Mister Ing, it is so very hard to gain a meeting with you. May I?” he asked motioning to one of the four now empty chairs this side of the mans desk. The men were Thai and were more concerned about him versus bursting through the door and finding out what the commotion was. He was sure that Ing had the video feedsup on his laptop and knew that Monica was alone in the main room of the restaurant. He seemed as chauvinistic as most men of his age and relative street level power. It would be his undoing. They still hadn’t realized that the man before them was in fact the distraction as well as the only bit of mercy he might have.
Taking the option to sit Samuel folded himself into the chair crossing one leg over the other resting his hands in his lap. It would appear that this was a simple business meeting and not a potential ending of a dynasty. He waited a few beats giving yet more time to Monica to insure the place was devoid of later surprises. Finally speaking he said, “Mister Ing I am here to speak about your recent hiring practices and job assignments.” Raising his hand to cut the man off. “I am not a police officer nor federal agent you have no need to deny anything. I recently had the pleasure of shutting one such sight down. I am aware of the others and would like to for the record commend you for you drive and denounce you for failing to follow the new protocol.”

The men she faced were looking her over in a mixture of anger irritation lust and curiosity. Most of them realized she had the bead on them but some of them still thought they could take her if they really had to. That would be a mistake, she let her other sense roll out further and picked up auras in the kitchen, They had to have one to at least make some sort of food cover or not. People got hungry even just waiting around, plus something was making the smell in here. She called out again to the kitchen" I know you are in there why don't you three come out here slow and easy. Don't try and be cute I am a really good shot. I rather you keep whatever job you have here this is between us and your boss"
Counting to ten slowly they hit six before she saw hands. Two sets which meant she would need to watch for the last one, they stepped out quick and when she let her gaze find them one of the thugs thought her distracted enough to rush. Mistake on his part she felt him coming and hit him in the chest two shots dropping him hard. The others flinched as she turned to look at the rest with a very clear message in her eyes. The look said to not do that again. the man on the floor might live if they could get him help and she said as much" he will live if you take him out of here now so what do you want to do?"
They looked at each other fretting and one of the cooks went to check. He nodded to the other and they carefully dragged the man out passed her hands to full to be a problem. That left five still as the third man having heard the gun had dropped the large knife he had and scrambled over near the thugs out of fear. Her stance would need to relax soon but it would be held long enough to have Abel arrive she knew he would be there any second.

Ing sat back in his chair pompous and full of him self. Every few years some one came to attempt taking something of his. The what was not important. The fact they failed always failed was. He smirked sitting forward looking over the black man across his desk and considering the woman who’d just put down one of security. He chuckled benevolently. It would be a foolish thing sending more men to sweep her out. That was the obvious plan of theirs.
‘You obviously know me at least what I might bring to bare but my reputation. So please tell me why I should not simply have my men kill you now. Kill her second and search you for any evidence I am sure you’ve brought so I can find how and why you believe to presume to come here.’
Samuel met the mans gaze very calmly. Even as he was fine being threatened he was moved however with the threat leveled against Monica. “Ing. Two very good reasons I came to talk hoping you would be more businessman than gangster. And two if your men were truly killers I would have been shot when I came through the door. That’s what shooters would have done. They didn’t they didn’t even form a wall between me and you so they aren’t smart muscle either; I am really surprised you have survived this long.”
Sighing as if he had to explain one plus one to a surly child for the last hour. Samuel looked at his watch minutes gone by meant Abel even as he paused was locking down the block cutting off Ing’s second wave. Which Samuel wasn’t supposed to know were on their way.
Finally speaking he said, “Ing here is the deal I will leave you a number you call it before putting any action in play if you do not I will be forced to slap your wrist as testament to the new regime. So which will it be?”
Ing let his pride speak for him he stood attempting to tower over Samuel. He began barking orders in Mandarin and gesticulating. Mistake. Samuel took that to mean he wouldn’t be leaving a number. Kicking the desk causing Ing to fall forward. Rising he drug the chair behind him raising it into the face of the nearest guard. The two sweeping his rear were met by the continuing swing. Moving back to the desk where Ing was finally moving again Samuel lifted him onto his shoulders and bull rushed the door crashing through it bodily spinning at the last moment so he barreled through back first.

She was focused and heard shouting it didn't concern her, then Samuel crashed through the door with Ing and the men she had previously had controlled freaked and tried to save their benefactor She knew she wouldn't hit her lion and quickly emptied the barrel of the first gun picking off the four who ran toward the tussle. The other man had run away from them out the door. She sighed softly, smart man. she heard something in the distance that let her know Abel was in place.
Now it was just her, the three leftover guards and the two men in front of her. One full gun one empty she stepped just a bit closer to get eyes on the men in the room they had busted out of. If any of them came through the hole they would be shot. Looking at the floor around her, she knew that eventually even with him being a crime lord someone somewhere was going to call the police. calculating how long that might take them," Are we taking the food to go love or eating in? we don't have long"

Standing leaving Ing on the floor more broken than he had ever been. The door was meant for egress in the manner that Samuel had taken. And Ing while surprisingly in shape for his age was not made to be a door knocker. Improvisation at its best. Samuel turned his back to those in the office as an act of showing them where they rated. Beneath his notice.
“Ing this is what two of my organization has done. If I bring my attention to bear on you it will be far worse. Are you staying or do you need further education?” Samuel met his eyes holding the mans gaze. Seeing the fear there and knowing the sort of man Ing was he nodded as Ing did acquiescing. “Good. Its been a long night for you. Get your rest. We’ll talk again tomorrow.” Samuel said tapping Ings bald pate. Almost lovingly.
Standing he nodded to Monica as he walked past her to open the door," Neither I think we should go for dessert if you’re up for it." He knew she’d know that they would be shutting down the other sites tonight as a way to insure Ing wouldn’t try to renege once they were out of sight.

She looked at the man on the floor and shrugged" I could use desert dinner was entirely disappointing"
Walking out the door like the man behind them was literally nothing. She went to the car knowing that when the cops did arrive they would have cleaned up and made it look like it was some minor scuffle because Ing wouldn't want to lose face all the bodies would be patched or hidden. Shells cleaned up and a plausible excuse thought up. She knew for a fact they wouldn't ever admit that two people one of them female had taken down their fake restaurant full of people.
She as settled reloading her gun and getting an extra clip for the other one. Waiting for him she glanced down the block toward the lack of traffic and smiled texting abel that they would be leaving to the next in less than two minutes.

The idea of Ing ever being laid low was a very dangerous one. Most people in the area feared him but respected the stability and shelter he provided. Samuel was not happy with Eliachem knowing that he would have to step out of the shadows and yet deeper into the dark all at once.
Clearing his head of the political manuevering he drive knowing it was Abel and his new protege in the nondescript sedan behind them. It was a sign they were getting old when after all these years Abel had taken a rookiee under his wings showing him the ropes and pulling him into the larger world they inhabited.
Samuel had taken to mentally calling the boy Cain though he knowing his name was Severin Lucious Yates. College educated dishonorable discharged and former gang member. Whatever Abel saw in him Samuel prayed he lived up to because no matter the fact Samuel knew the boy was one of Anels bastard it was a dangerous world in which they lived.
Making his way to the furthest action he tapped the speakerphone dialing The Ulfric as they would be paying a visit and he wanted everything on the up and up. No need to step on anyone's toes just yet.

Glancing over as he left the wolf a message short to the point. They were on a mission no time for hurt feelings or stepped on toes. She sighed" tonight has been very interesting for sure, Did the old man say why he suddenly got it in his mind to do this?"
she was curious so far it seemed stupid ballzy and potential for failure was high. This might proceed a pattern of thugs and criminals lashing out to try for power grabs in the assumed vacuum left behind after the silver claws. There want a vacuum but the humans didn't know that persay. They didn't realize the master of the city already had plans to get them, all in line and following the rules. Monica had yet to meet abels new shadow but she was sure eventually it would happen.

"Someone got to him pushed the idea he was bigger than he actually was. Eliachem has a good idea but not enough publicity behind it." He shook his head as the who was still unknown but give a little to get a little. He knew two local Mafioso that he would have to coopt sooner rather than later.
Shaking his head at the foolishness that was surely going to happen. Having dealt with a wide swath of the criminal element he had very little patience for simple avarice. He hoped a little grease would be all that was needed sadly he doubted that.
Arriving he slowed enough to view the occupants inside. Luckily, it looked to be only operators. That meant less chance of anything getting out. The bank next door was a subrepository. It's security would reflect that sadly. So more than not just steel no real countermeasures.
Knowing the trade he knew as they couldn't go up they'd go down. Properly water saw in less noise. More time would be needed they would dissuade them.
Circling around he scanned for exit strategies. One laundry van parked at the end of the culdesac meant nothing too heavy or dollies. One hundred fifty feet to the van give or take a few feet meant they were planning not needing lookouts. Portable so if anything went wrong they'd walk and not standout.
"So my dear front or rear entrance?"

Listening as he explained that was intresting but she knew that eli couldn't go to public because every one of the leaders he picked would have target painted as the one to take out if you wanted to lead and be outed to the city at large.
That worried her for the kind but powerful bear in brooklyn she'd come to consider a friend. He unlike her lion wasn't a planner or ruthless. He didn't have an Abel or reach. She'd talk to samuel later on that front.
As she assessed his words hit a cord unable to help the mental he provoked from her.she bit her lip checked her clip and gave him a saucy smile full of double meaning. " you know I love when you take things from behind"
Sliping out first action was four flat tires on the van with one of the throwing knives.
